Dear Families,

This week students are starting to work on their 4th grade blogs.  The links have been uploaded to the "Student Blogs" tab at the top of this page. Students will begin by picking themes for their blogs, creating an All About Me page and creating avatars.  They will also be learning about internet safety (using the grade 3-5 presentation found on Netsmartz.org) and creating their first post about what they are thankful for.  Next week they will learn to comment appropriately and meaningfully on other people's blogs.  Take a look at the site: Student Blogging Challenge to see what students will be working on.  There is also a nice introduction video to blogging on the page.
